in the red is a Syrah dominant blend with Cabernet Sauvignon.
Another outstanding wine from Kevin Jussila is the 2013 In The Red, which is a 60⁄40 split of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon that’s all from estate fruit. Aged 18 months in 60% new French oak, this medium-bodied, juicy and elegant red offers lots of sweet cherry, raspberry, toasted spice and maybe a hint of red plum to go with fine tannin, solid balance and a great finish. It should evolve nicely through 2023, but there’s no need to hold off either.

Enjoy this library wine while it lasts. Periodically, we will bring in the red back as vintages allow. 2019 will be the next vintage of this blend but won’t be released until 2022.
