2011 pas de deux - 91 pts from The Wine Advocate
Outstanding, with beautiful complexity and a rich, layered profile, the 2011 pas de deux is a blend of Syrah and Grenache that spent 16 months in French oak. Exhibiting quality aromas and flavors of black and blue fruits, dried spices, leather and licorice, it hits the palate with a full-bodied, silky profile, good overall freshness and sweet tannin. It will evolve gacefully and have upwards of a decade of prime drinking.
