The 2012 Lothario is an inter­est­ing blend of near­ly equal parts Grenache, Mourve­dre and Zin­fan­del, all of which was aged 16 months in French oak pun­cheons. It has vibrant, juicy style to go with bright pur­ple fruits, vio­lets, pot­pour­ri and licorice aro­mas and fla­vors. Medi­um to full-bod­ied, rich and tex­tured, it shows the puri­ty of fruit in the vin­tage, and stays fresh and focused through the fin­ish. Enjoy it over the com­ing 4 – 5 years.
