2013 in the red - 91 pts from Wine Advocate
Another outstanding wine from Kevin Jussila is the 2013 In The Red, which is a 60⁄40 split of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon that’s all from estate fruit. Aged 18 months in 60% new French oak, this medium-bodied, juicy and elegant red offers lots of sweet cherry, raspberry, toasted spice and maybe a hint of red plum to go with fine tannin, solid balance and a great finish. It should evolve nicely through 2023, but there’s no need to hold off either.
