Bril­liant ruby-red. A high­ly per­fumed bou­quet evokes ripe black rasp­ber­ry, incense and can­died flow­ers. A smoky min­er­al ele­ment adds ener­getic lift. Offers sweet, impres­sive­ly con­cen­trat­ed red berry and cher­ry pre­serve fla­vors that stain the palate. Picks up a spicy flour­ish on the back half. Blends pow­er and ele­gance smooth­ly and fin­ish­es very long and pre­cise, with fine-grained tan­nins lend­ing shape and gen­tle grip.
