The 2017 Kaamos is a blend of 60% Petite Sir­ah, 20% Grenache and 20% Mourvè­dre, aged 18 months in 50% new French oak. It has a deep ruby-pur­ple col­or and a nose of crushed black­cur­rants, turned earth and vio­let, ret­i­cent at first before reveal­ing tinges of blue­ber­ries and blood orange with time in the glass. The palate is full-bod­ied with con­cen­trat­ed, per­fumed black and blue fruits, firm­ly framed and fresh with a long, lift­ed finish.
