The 2019 Noir is most­ly Syrah but includes 10% Counoise and 5% Petite Sir­ah. It lives up to its name, reveal­ing a deep purple/​plum hue to go with medi­um to full-bod­ied aro­mas and fla­vors of spiced black fruits, san­dal­wood, ground pep­per, and cured meat. Nice­ly tex­tured and bal­anced, with sweet tan­nins, it’s anoth­er incred­i­bly sat­is­fy­ing, deli­cious wine from wine­mak­er Kevin Jus­si­la. 93 pts
