2012 in the red - 90 pts from The Wine Advocate
Darker and more concentrated (than the AATTO), the 2012 In The Red checks in as a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 16 months in 60% new French oak barrels. It’s a classy, balanced and medium-bodied effort that gives up loads of blackberry, blackcurrants, licorice, toasted spice and dried earth on the nose. It’s not a blockbuster, and shows the vintages supple nature, yet it evolves nicely given its balance and harmony.
