Winemaking

Minimal intervention, trust in farming, in fruit, and in time.

Minimal Intervention. Maximum Expression.

Winemaking at kukkula begins in the vineyard.

Fermentations rely on native yeasts. Red wines are neither fined nor filtered. Manipulation is minimal. Oak is used with restraint to support structure rather than dominate character.

The goal is transparency — Rhône-style blends that emphasize freshness, balance, texture, acidity, and food compatibility. These are wines built to evolve in bottle, reflecting the limestone soils, coastal influences, and the elevation of our property in the Adelaida District.
