2014 noir - 92 pts from Jeb Dunnuck

Made from 89% Syrah and 11% Counoise, the 2014 Noir is ter­rif­ic. Black rasp­ber­ries, spice-box, dried vio­lets and hints of plum sauce all emerge from this medi­um to full-bod­ied, ele­gant, silky Syrah that just glides across the palate. It has fine tan­nin and will keep nice­ly for 6 – 8 years. This cuvée was brought up in 60% new French oak, in a com­bi­na­tion of 225-Liter bar­rels (Syrah) and 500-Liter pun­cheons (Counoise).
