A fra­grant blend of 66% Grenache and 34% Syrah, the 2015 pas de deux offers up pret­ty notes of kirsch, rose petal and dried herbs. On the palate, it’s sup­ple, full-bod­ied and per­fumed, with a nice core of juicy fruit, fine-grained, struc­tur­ing tan­nins and a pure, mouth­wa­ter­ing fin­ish. While Syrah can often dom­i­nate in blends like this, here Grenache takes the lead — to attrac­tive effect.
