This blend of 55% syrah, 25% Grenache, and 20% Mourve­dre starts with a rather ripe nose of kirsch, caramelized oak and pep­per-crust­ed teriya­ki beef. The palate is wrapped in a grip­py ten­sion that presents fla­vors of black­ber­ry jam, hick­o­ry smoked meats and roast­ed cherries.
