The 2021 Noir is a blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Petite Sir­ah. It’s com­plex and flo­ral on the nose: blue­ber­ries and cas­sis are accent­ed with touch­es of vio­let and mixed tea leaves, plus notes of char­cu­terie and tar. The full-bod­ied palate fea­tures con­cen­trat­ed lay­ers of per­fumed fruit framed by chalky tan­nins and vibrant acid­i­ty, and it has a long fin­ish with nuances of spice and earth. 95 pts
